Seller Identity Verification Notice

Seller identity verification is separate from business-document verification. A verified seller badge must not be interpreted as verification of every business claim or listing.

What is collected

After email verification, a seller may be asked for an accepted identity type, identity number and supporting document. Identity numbers are encrypted at rest and a keyed normalized fingerprint is used for controlled duplicate detection.

Why it is used

Identity evidence is used to review seller eligibility, prevent duplicate identity abuse, support marketplace safety and maintain an auditable review history.

Business verification is separate

A business receives a business-verification badge only after its own submitted verification document is reviewed and approved. Seller identity approval alone does not grant that business badge.
